How WLR records wallet history

WLR is a historical registry, not a ranking. It separates wallet identity, concrete products, lifecycle events, and evidence so that a past incident does not become a permanent “unsafe” label.

Counting unit

An entity is a wallet brand or project. A product is a materially independent device, application, smart-account surface, or other product with its own lifecycle or security boundary. Software versions are not products.

Status is not incident history

A currently active wallet may have historical incidents. Sales status, support status, and overall product status are recorded separately where needed.

Evidence

Claims should be backed by primary sources where possible: vendor security advisories, release notes, CVEs, security research, source code, audits, and archived material. Every canonical event must have at least one evidence record.

What WLR does not do

WLR does not publish a “best wallet” list, safety score, star rating, APY ranking, or chain-support leaderboard. An absence of recorded incidents is not a security guarantee.
